Tricia’s pastel paintings are a combination of soft and hard pastels done on sanded paper or panel. Pastels are almost pure pigment that can be laid down on a substrate by stick or brush. Her work concentrates on landscapes and oceanscapes, but also extends to detailed studies and works of skies and clouds. Recent works are more abstract and abbreviated landscapes.
